The museum is the residence of the founder and first president of modern Turkey, Mr. Mustafa Kemal Atatürk. It is in this house that Atatürk made plans to achieve impossible things, which he made possible. A memorial plaque with the inscription “Gazi Mustafa Kemal Pasha prepared in this house the liberation of the Motherland in 1335 is also present in the museum.
Visitors can expect to see items scattered across three floors. These include Mr. Atarurk’s sleeping bed, studying room, clothes, medals, guns, images, and statues. There is also a small library with books in Turkish. The place is relatively small and well maintained.
The museum is open on both weekdays and weekends. There is no wait time for entrance on weekdays, while on weekends the wait time is up to 10 minutes. The entrance is free for all visitors.
